Fattoria di Montemaggio it is a small estate(8 hectars), a boutique, niche vineyard in the hearth of Chianti Classico region Radda in Chianti at a very high altitude. We produce a very limited amount of bottles (25.000-35.000) and our aim it is to produce high quality and terroir wines.
We are an organic estate certified, with an eye to biodynamic agriculture although we are not convinced of it yet!.
We age our wines many years, first in the oak and than in the bottles before putting those on the market (we are actually now selling Chianti Classico 2013 and Riserva 2011). Very fine and elegant wines, not powerful.”
