Podere Terreno alla Via della Volpaia is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico area on the Volpaia ridge at an altitude of 350-400 meters above sea level.
The first historical traces on the working of the vineyards date back to 1465.
The vineyards are aged between 12 and 30 years for a total area of ​​6 hectares developed around the farm house now used as farmhouse.
The vineyards are made up of 90% Sangiovese which have their roots in stony soils originating from sedimentary rocks of marine origin, “Galestro”; other varieties of vineyards present in a small percentage are Colorino, Canaiolo, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon.
