Family-run business, which owns about 10ha of vineyards and 4ha of olive groves, scattered between the towns of Radda and Gaiole in Chianti.
In 2020, Alessandro decides to produce wine from the ancient family vineyards and to renovate an old cellar, once the hospital of the Knights of Malta, in the center of the village of Volpaia.
The Selvolini family, Alessandro’s maternal family, is one of the oldest, in Volpaia since 1600, and one of the most important, because they owned all the activities of the village, in particular the Appalto (the shop).
