Radda nel Bicchiere May 23th 24th 2026

The 29th edition of one of the most popular wine events, Radda nel
Bicchiere, will take place on Saturday, May 23rd and Sunday, May 24th in Radda in Chianti (Siena).

Radda in Chianti which was awarded an Orange Flag rating by the Touring
Club of Italy, is preparing to welcome countless wine enthusiasts from
around the world. Each year, people flock to Radda to discover the new
vintages, chat with producers and savor the world of Chianti Classico.
Radda nel Bicchiere is an initiative organized by the Proloco of Radda
in Chianti, where the beautiful town in is on display and wine
enthusiasts can taste all the amazing wine that this splendid Tuscan
village offers.
RADDA WINEMAKERS PARTICIPATING IN THE EVENT
This year, the Radda Winemakers Association will have its own stand,
where you can taste the 2020 and 2021 vintage of the Vino di Radda
“53017”. In addition, as you walk through around the wall of the town,
you can taste and purchase wines from the following Radda winemakers:
Arillo in Terrabianca, Brancaia, Cantina Castelvecchi, Caparsa, Castello
di Albola, Castello di Monterinaldi, Castello di Radda, Castello di
Volpaia, Colle Bereto, Corte Domina, Fattoria di Montemaggio, Istine,
L’Erta di Radda, Podere Capaccia, Podere Ferrale, Podere Terreno,
Poggerino, Pruneto, Tenuta di Carleone, Tenute Selvolini, and Val delle
Corti.

PROGRAM SATURDAY, MAY 23
Radda meets the Trentino 10:30 AM | Sala del Podestà, Radda in Chianti
Town Hall, Piazza Ferrucci
Trentino will be the guest region of this year’s seminar. Sommelier
Clizia Zuin will guide us on a wine journey between Radda and Trentino,
seizing the opportunity to explore the similarities and differences of
two extraordinary regions. In the world of fine dining, Clizia Zuin
stands out as one of the most influential names in the wine world.
Recently crowned “Sommelier of the Year 2025” by Gambero Rosso, the Head
Sommelier and Wine Buyer of Vito Mollica’s Michelin-starred restaurant
Atto at Palazzo Portinari Salviati in Florence, she embodies a new
generation of wine professionals: cosmopolitan, knowledgeable, and
deeply committed to the local area.

Opening of the Radda nel Bicchiere event

SATURDAY, MAY 23TH PROGRAM
From 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM along Viale Matteotti the winetasting event is
open to the public to sip the best wines of Radda in Chianti poured by
the producers themselves, with more than 80 wines available. Trentino
wineries Vallarom, Monfort Wineries, Maso Cantanghel, and Dalzocchio
Winery will also be present with their tasting stands.

SUNDAY, MAY 24TH PROGRAM
From 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., the winetasting event is open to the
public along Viale Matteotti.
From 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the 17th Edition of “Radda nel Bicchiere”
blind tasting will take place, with the awards ceremony at 6:30 p.m.
From 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., The “Radda Vintage” tasting in the Sala
del Podestà of the Municipality of Radda in Chianti is an initiative
that will allow you to taste older vintages of wines produced in this
renowned Chianti Classico area. The tasting will be led by Sommelier
Giovanni d’Alessandro and Davide Bonucci – Sangiovese Purosangue.
