For the “Dinner with the Vintners” event, Enrica della Martira has created a menu that highlights the finest Radda specialties:
Classic Menu
APPETIZER: Tuscan liver paté terrine with apricots on a brioche pastry topped with delicate jelly made with Vinsanto from Radda
FIRST COURSE: Mezzi paccheri, short tube pasta, with pork rib ragù made from free-range pigs raised in Radda
MAIN COURSE: Peposo, peppery beef stew cooked in the Vino di Radda “53017” served with zucchini seasoned with wild calamint from our meadows
DESSERT: Peach upside-down cake and vanilla ice cream

The ‘Vignaioli di Radda’.
The Winegrowers Association’s mission is to spread the wine culture of Radda in Chianti by developing projects, in-depth meetings and events that support and promote excellence in viticulture, with particular attention to organic and biodynamic cultivation and production.
There are now 25 members: Arillo in Terrabianca, Borgo la Stella, Borgo Salcetino, Brancaia, Caparsa, Castello di Albola, Castello di Monterinaldi, Castello di Radda, Castello di Volpaia, Castelvecchi, Colle Bereto, Cortedomina, Fattoria di Montemaggio, Istine, L’Erta di Radda, Montevertine, Podere Capaccia, Podere Ferrale, Podere Terreno, Poggerino, Pruneto, Tenuta di Carleone, Tenute Selvolini, Val delle Corti, Vignavecchia.
The ‘Vino di Radda – 53017’
One Territory, 25 winegrowers, one soul.
25 producers, 25 vineyards, 25 shades of Sangiovese from Radda in Chianti come together to create a uniquely individual wine that harmoniously represents the territory. An iconic bottle that expresses the collaboration between all of the Winegrowers of Radda and reflects their dedication to the region. In order to create this exquisite wine, each “Vignaiolo” contributes 27 liters of their best Sangiovese, the grape variety that is the heart and soul of our Chianti region. By blending all the wines together, they magically combine to give birth to “53017”, the Sangiovese of the Radda Vintners.
The name of the wine corresponds to the zip code of Radda in Chianti. This one-of-a-kind project is created and in the depths of the Castello di Albola cellars before being released in the special Magnum bottle format. Each bottle is hand-numbered by the president of the association.
