Wine is a living creature, and for this reason it is constantly evolving, like 53017<\/strong>, the new wine of the Vignaioli di Radda 2019<\/strong>, a true espression of “Sangiovese”.<\/p>\n

Magnum 53017<\/p><\/div>\n

Why 53017? Because it is the postal code of Radda in Chianti<\/strong>, a number that identifies its place in the world and the Vignaioli di Radda<\/strong> strongly desired to put this identification on the label. The Association now has 26 producers, covering all the cardinal points of the Raddese territory with its different altitudes, positions and stories, but with a single soul. Each member donated 27 liters of their best Sangiovese, which was blended then aged in barrels, before being bottled in 1,5 LT Magnums<\/strong>, all the bottles are numbered by hand. It will be interesting to discover its continuous evolution and all the differences that Sangiovese expresses depending on the different climatic conditions of that vintage: every parcel, every vineyard, every area of the county of Radda is unique, and it is for this reason that the 53017 vintage 2019, is a wine destined to evolve over time.<\/p>\n

The new “Magnum” was released during “The Dinner<\/strong>” on June 18 in Piazza Ferrucci in Radda, the event that for the second consecutive year saw the participation of many people from all over the world who hold Radda in their hearts.<\/p>\n

Vito Mollica Radda Wine Lover<\/p><\/div>\n

A dinner under the stars, where in addition to tasting the new 53017, all the winemakers were pouring their “Top Wines”, thus creating a perfect combination of enology and gastronomy, as the dinner dishes were specially made by the multi-Michelin star chef Vito Mollica<\/strong> who hails from Basilicata and is founder of the Chic Nonna restaurant in Florence<\/strong>. In addition to having given life to the evening\u2019s entire menu, during the evening Vito received the plaque and the certificate of the “Radda Wine Lover<\/strong>“, a recognition that is donated by the Vignaioli di Radda<\/strong> to chefs, restaurants and wine bars who are friends of Radda and constant supporters of Radda wines.<\/p>\n
