Director of Vignavecchia

Vignavecchia is situated very near to the village of Radda in Chianti, featuring vineyards planted high atop the hills. The estate was founded in 1876 by Odoardo Beccari, a renowned Florentine botanist and explorer.
In 2020, after nearly a century and a half of winemaking history under the Beccari ownership, the estate experienced a transition in leadership to Olivier Adnot—a French winemaker driven by a profound passion for Sangiovese.
At Vignavecchia, Olivier found the ideal terroir to make his dream a reality by producing a magnificent Sangiovese that is complex, age-worthy, and capable of evoking deep emotions.
After six years of quiet and constant work combining research and experimentation keeping in the vein of the founder’s exploratory spirit, Olivier is now ready to present the new face of Vignavecchia
