The saying goes, “April is sweet sleep”, but not for the Radda Winemakers, who in the coming days will participate in some of the most important events in the wine industry.

OPERAWINE
The fourteenth edition of OperaWine will be held on April 5, 2025 at the former Gallerie Mercatali and will precede the inauguration of Vinitaly.
Among the 131 choices for this important event endorsed by the US magazine “Wine Spectator”, there will also be four producers from the association of the Vignaioli di Radda with the following wines:
Castello di Albola – Chianti Classico Santa Caterina Gran Selezione 2015
Castello di Volpaia – Toscana Rosso Coltassala 1997
Istine – Chianti Classico Vigna Casanova dell’Aia 2018
Poggerino – Chianti Classico Bugialla Riserva 2019

VINITALY
Vinitaly opens the gates of its 57th edition at Veronafiere from 6 to 9 April 2025. The fairgrounds are full with around 4,000 wineries. Operators from Italy and 140 nations are expected in the 18 pavilions of the event. The only international exhibition dedicated to Italian wine will also feature many Vignaioli di Radda.
Throughout the duration of Vinitaly, the Radda Winemakers present at the event will also bring the 53017 “Vino dei Vignaioli” vintage 2020 for tasting.

SUMMA

SUMMA has been held for over 20 years at the Tenuta Alois Lageder in Magrè near Bolzano, and this year it will be on Saturday and Sunday April 5thand 6th.
SUMMA is an event dedicated to lightheartedness and curiosity that is free of stress and boredom for both visitors and wine producers. A mutual exchange in a welcoming environment with a historical significance. Broaden your horizons. Be inspired. Celebrate together.
The success of the event is due to the winemakers who are invited every year and with whom special values are shared: quality, healthy agriculture (organic, biodynamic or in conversion), desire to experiment and a passion for wine. Representing the Winemakers of Radda in this edition there will be Tenuta di Carleone.
